Ione Agonay Jimenez Cabrera (born October 13, 1985 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ) is a Spanish football player .
Career
Ione Cabrera started playing soccer with the amateurs of UD Las Palmas and joined the pros in 2005. In spring 2008 he played on loan for CA Osasuna's second team , before moving to Jerez Industrial in the fall . After another six months, he left Spain and joined SCR Altach in Austria . At the Erste Liga club he immediately developed into a regular player and twice just barely missed promotion to the Bundesliga with the Vorarlberg team . In the summer of 2011, SV Grödig brought him to Salzburg. In summer 2015 he moved to LASK Linz in the Upper Austrian capital .
In August 2016 he switched to Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling , with whom he received a contract that was valid until June 2018.
For the 2018/19 season he moved to the second division WSG Wattens . With WSG Wattens he rose as a second division champion in the Bundesliga, whereupon the club was renamed WSG Tirol. After 36 appearances for the Tyroleans, he left the club after the 2019/20 season.
