Leo Martinschitz (born June 18, 1957 ) is a former Austrian soccer goalkeeper and now goalkeeping coach .

During his active time, Martinschitz played for SC Eisenstadt (152 games) from 1980 to 1987 and for SK VÖEST Linz (20 games) in 1987/88 in the Austrian Bundesliga . Other stations in his career were FC Admira Wacker , VfB Mödling and SV Hirm .

After completing his active career, Martinschitz started his coaching career. Since July 2002 he has been under contract with the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg as a goalkeeping coach.

Leo Martinschitz is married and has one daughter. He works for the Burgenland electricity supplier BEWAG .
