Ireland Tri-Nation Series 2017
The Ireland Tri-Nation Series 2017 was a three-nation tournament that was played in one-day cricket in Ireland from May 12 to 24, 2017 . In addition to the host, teams from Bangladesh and New Zealand took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2017 international cricket season .
prehistory
Ireland previously played an ODI series in England , for the other two teams it was the first tour of the season. New Zealand and Bangladesh are using the tour as preparation for the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy , which subsequently took place in England.
format
In a preliminary round, each team played against each other once. There were four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result.
