Irena Ričkuvienė

Irena Ričkuvienė (born June 6, 1962 in Jurbarkas ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician , former head of the Tauragė district .

Life

After graduating from high school in Jurbarkas in 1980 , Ričkuvienė graduated in 1986 with a degree in civil engineering at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas in Vilnius and became a civil engineer . She then taught at Plungės statybos technikumas in Plungė . From 1994 to 2001 she was the first deputy mayor of Tauragė City . In 2001 she was the deputy director and from 2006 to 2009 she was the director of the Tauragė district . In 2002, she worked in the Pagėgiai Municipality Local Government, and in 2003 as the Deputy Administrative Director in the Tauragė County Council . From 2011 to 2015 she was a member of the Tauragė Council .

Ričkuvienė was a member of liberal parties such as Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga (2000) and Liberalų ir centro sąjunga .
