Irene Budischowsky (* 3. March 1960 in Vienna ) is an actress , spokesperson, singer , playwright and composer .

Life

Irene Budischowsky studied world trade at the University of Vienna and attended the Krauss drama school . She made her debut in the Rogue Opera of Vaclav Havel in the Theater an der Wien . There she also played as the daughter of Marika Rökk in Die Gräfin vom Naschmarkt .

She works as an actress and singer at various theaters in Austria and Germany, and as a speaker for radio and television. She wrote the incidental music for Räuber Hotzenplotz , Das kleine Gespenst , Barbarossa , Gespensterfest auf Canterville and several musical translations. Her children's musical Cinderella (text and music) was successfully premiered at the Clingenburg Festival in 2007.

Irene Budischowsky is married to the director and artistic director Georg Mittendrein .

She played among others in Vienna at the Theater in der Josefstadt , Volkstheater , Theater an der Wien , Jura Soyfer-Theater and in the small comedy . Her international appearances include the Halle Opera House , the United Stages Bozen, the Altenburg State Theater and the Clingenburg Festival.
