Irene Martínez (athlete)

Irene Martínez Tartabull (born October 28, 1944 , † April 2014 ) was a Cuban long jumper and sprinter .

At the Pan American Games in 1963 in São Paulo, she finished fifth and won the 4 x 100-meter relay silver .

In 1966 she won the Central American and Caribbean Games and in 1967 at the Athletics Central American and Caribbean Championships and the Pan American Games in Winnipeg with her personal best of 6.33 m.
