Irene Neumann
Irene Neumann (* 1947 ) is a former German photo model and beauty queen .
Life
In 1970 she became the first Miss Germany to receive her title abroad - in San Juan, Puerto Rico .
On July 11, 1970, she took part in the Miss Universe in Miami Beach (Florida, USA).
In 1971 her term of office as Miss Germany was extended by one year because there was no election. So she ran for Miss World in London in November of the same year .
After her first election to Miss Germany, she worked as a model for twelve years. In 2003 she worked for the German-American model training center Sage Innovations . She helped women to find the right agency for their type, arranged contacts, introductory appointments and accompanied them to the agencies.
Today she works as a naturopath in Aying .
