Irina Alexandrovna Gerassimjonok ( Russian Ирина Александровна Герасимёнок ; born October 6, 1970 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian sports shooter .

successes

Irina Gerassimjonok, who started for CSKA Moscow , took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta in a three-position battle with a small bore rifle. As third of the qualification with 585 points she moved into the final, in which she scored 95.1 points and with a total of 680.1 points finished second behind Aleksandra Ivošev . In 1994 in Milan and 1998 in Barcelona Gerassimjonok became world champion with the small-bore team in the prone position . In 1994 she also won silver in team competitions in the three-position fight and with the air rifle, and bronze in the individual three-position fight.

Her father Aleksandrs Gerasimjonoks was also an Olympic sports shooter.
