Irina Kuzmina-Rimša (born January 16, 1986 in Riga , Soviet Union , as Irina Kuzmina ) is a former Latvian tennis player .

Career

Kuzmina-Rimša, who loved to play on clay courts, started playing tennis at the age of nine.

She won two singles and eight doubles titles in the ITF Women's Circuit during her career .

In addition, played for the Latvian Fed Cup team between 2003 and 2011 , where it was 19 times victorious in 32 matches.

In 2010 she was part of the squad of the club on the Alster , which played in the 2nd tennis Bundesliga. In the final table, the club finished last and was relegated.
