Youlia Fedossova ( Russian Юлия Федосова , scientific transliteration Julija Fedossowa ; born  July 1, 1988 in Novosibirsk ) is a former French tennis player with Russian roots.

Career

Youlia Fedossova, who came to France with her parents at the age of three, began playing tennis at the age of eight. She won four double titles at ITF tournaments in her professional career . She was unsuccessful on the WTA Tour .

She made it into the main field eleven times in the individual competition at Grand Slam tournaments . She was able to advance twice into the second round, in 2006 at the US Open and 2007 at the Australian Open .

Her last appearance on the women's tour was in January 2011 at an ITF indoor tournament in France, where she gave up her game against Annika Beck after losing the first set.
