Irina Rodrigues
Irina Cristiana Carreira Rodrigues (born February 5, 1991 in Leiria ) is a Portuguese athlete .
Career
Rodrigues trains at Sporting Lisbon . At the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2008 , she took part in a major international event for the first time. With a width of 48.15 meters, she failed to qualify for the final in seventh place. Two years later, she was fifth at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Moncton with 52.75 meters.
In 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London, but with a width of 57.23 meters clearly missed the final and finished 32nd in the end. In 2013 she took part in the 2013 World Championships in Moscow and was eliminated with a width of 57.64 Meters out as tenth of the qualification.
She achieved her personal best in May 2012 with 62.91 meters at a sports festival in Halle (Saale) .
