Iris Denneler
Iris Denneler (born January 15, 1955 in Stuttgart ; † March 15, 2012 ) was a German specialist in German .
Career
Denneler studied German, philosophy and linguistics in Munich. In 1982 she presented her doctoral thesis on the poetry of Georg Trakl in Munich . From 1985 to 1990 she was a research assistant, then a research assistant at the TU Berlin and at the same time worked as a freelance literary critic. After her habilitation in 1994, she initially worked as a lecturer for the German Academic Exchange Service in Romania. From 1997 onwards she was professor for modern German literature and its didactics at the University of Dortmund .
