Irmentrud (born September 27 around 825, † October 6, 869 in Hasnon Abbey ), daughter of Count Odo von Orléans and Ingeltrud von Fezensac . Her ancestors include Karl Martell , Pippin I, the Elder, and Desiderius, King of the Lombards .

On 13./14. December 842 she married in Quierzy Karl the Bald , King of the West Franconian Empire. In 867 she separated from her husband (the reason was Lothar II's divorce from his wife Theutberga because of the mistress Waldrada ) and retired to Hasnon Abbey near Valenciennes , where she died two years later. She was buried in the basilica of Saint-Denis .
