Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann
Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann (born May 22, 1957 in Neuss ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
After graduating from high school, Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann studied law in Regensburg and Bonn. She has been self-employed in the financial services industry since 2001 and has been a voluntary glider instructor since 1980.
politics
Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann has been a member of the CDU since 1989 and is active there in various functions. From 1993 to 2001 she was a city councilor and from 2001 to 2011 a member of the magistrate of Darmstadt. Since spring 2011 she has been city councilor of Darmstadt again.
Klaff-Isselmann has been chairwoman of the Frauen Union (FU) since autumn 1993 . Since March 1996 she has been deputy district chairwoman of the CDU. From 1997 to 2001 she was on the board of directors of the State Theater and has been on the board again since March 2011. In addition, she has been on the supervisory board of Hessische Energie AG HEAG Natur Pur since 2000 and was a member of the executive board of the waste disposal association in South Hesse from 2001 to 2011. Since August 2011 she has been a member of the association assembly of the special purpose association for waste disposal in South Hesse.
Klaff-Isselmann was also a member of the association assembly of the DADINA local transport organization from 1997 to 2001 and has been there again since April 2011. From 2001 to 2011 she was on the board of DADINA. Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann is also involved in the field of culture. Since April 2011 she has been a member of the Culture Committee 2011 and since May 2011 a member of the Works Commission for the Cultural Institutes.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , she ran in the constituency of Darmstadt-Stadt I. Here she lost to Michael Siebel . However, you succeeded in entering the state parliament via a list of the party. In the state elections in Hesse in 2018, she was defeated by the Green candidate Hildegard Förster-Heldmann and left the state parliament because the CDU state list did not pull out in this election.

Aviation
Irmgard Klaff-Isselmann has been a glider instructor since 1980. She was the women's representative of the German Aero Club Nordrhein Westfalen / DAeC NW from 1981 to June 1998. Klaff-Isselmann was also vice-president of the DAeC NW from March 1989 to November 1995 and also deputy women's representative of the DAeC Bund from January 1993 to January 1996.
