María Isabel Restrepo (born October 8, 1983 in Medellín ) is a former Colombian squash player .

Career

Isabel Restrepo reached her highest ranking in the world rankings with rank 160 in August 2006. From 1999 to 2007 she was a member of the Colombian national team , with which she participated several times in Pan American Championships and Pan American Games . In 2007 she won the bronze medal with her at the Pan American Games .

She studied at Trinity College , for which she was also active in college squash, and completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering . She then earned a Masters in Applied Mathematics from Brown University , and received her PhD in May 2013 .
