Ischewskoje ( Russian Ижевское ) is a village in the Ryazan region in Russia with 3340 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010), which became known as the birthplace of the Russian space pioneer Konstantin Tsiolkovsky .
history
1387 was the first mention on the occasion of a literacy campaign by Bishop Oleg Ivanovich Feognostu.
In the 17th century the village belonged alternately to the Tsarina Catherine I and the boyars Godunow and Odojewski . 1832, the then local owner Ivan managed Demidov the serfdom into Ischewskoje. In 1849 Konstantin Ziolkowski's father (Eduard Ignatjewitsch) came to Ischewskoje as a forester and on September 17, 1857 the future space pioneer Konstantin Ziolkowski was born.
