The Isskogel is 2264 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol , which is heavily developed for tourism. This is the local mountain of Gerlos .
Surroundings
The mountain is north of the Gerlos Pass . Neighboring mountains are the 2315 m high Königsleitenspitze in the east and the 2558 m high Kreuzjoch in the west . The closest place to Gerlos is Königsleiten .
Tourist development
A network of hiking trails and numerous ski lifts open up the Isskogel, which is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area . With the Isskogelbahn, which operates in summer and winter, a mountain railway leads up to an altitude of around 1,900 m. From there, descents by mountain bike are possible.
