István Miklósy
István Miklósy (born August 22, 1857 in Rákócz , Austrian Empire ; † October 30, 1937 in Hajdúdorog , Hungary ) was the first bishop of the Greek Catholic Diocese of Hajdúdorog .
Life
István Miklósy was ordained a priest on April 17, 1884 at the age of 26 . He was appointed bishop of the Greek Catholic diocese of Hajdúdorog on June 23, 1913 at the age of 55. The episcopal ordination donated him on October 5, 1913, the bishop of Križevci Julije Drohobeczky ; Co -consecrators were Augustín Fischer-Colbrie, Bishop of Košice , and József Lányi de Késmark, Bishop of Knin . Miklósy was the first Greek Catholic bishop of the Hajdúdorog diocese.
In total, István Miklósy served as a priest in the pastoral ministry for 53 years , including 24 years as a bishop.
István Miklósy died on October 30, 1937 at the age of 80 in the Diocese of Hajdúdorog.
