Italia 2 , officially Mediaset Italia 2 , is a private Italian television broadcaster from Berlusconi's Mediaset broadcasting group . Italia 2 is aimed at male viewers between the ages of 15 and 34, as La5 is only intended for female viewers. The station went on the air on July 4, 2011 at 10 p.m. with the film Dragonball Evolution as a supplement to Italia 1 . The spots had been shown on Italia 1 since July 1st. Some programs, such as anime like One Piece , Detective Conan, and Naruto Shippuden , have been moved to Italia 2.
Italia 2 is broadcast digitally on Tivù Sat (program number 35). The slogan of Italia 2 is: "Born to Be 2".
On October 3, 2011, the program was completely changed. Italia 2 has divided its programs into zones. There are a total of ten zones, each of which has been given a color:
- Smile Zone (13:00 - 13:55): with All Stars , Camera Cafè , Don Luca c'è , La strana coppia , Medici miei , Ale e Franz Sketch Show , SMS - Squadra Molto Speciale
- Crime Zone (13:55 - 14:45): with Prison Break
- X Zone (14.45 - 15.35): with Surface Mistero dagli abissi
- Power Zone (15:35 - 16:20): with Kyle XY
- Fantasy Zone (16.20 - 17.15): with Xena - Principessa guerriera
- Music Zone (17.15 - 18.10): with Mp2 music plays on 2
- Sport Zone (18:10 - 19:15): with MotoGP
- TV Show Zone (19:15 - 20:15): with Colorado
- Wild Zone (20:15 - 21:15): with Untamed & Uncut
- Cartoon Zone (21:15 - 22:00): with American Dad and I Griffin
