Julija Konstantinowna Morosowa , b. Sedowa ( Russian Юлия Константиновна Морозова , born Седова , English transcription: Yulia Konstantinovna Morozova ; born  January 8, 1985 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian volleyball player . She became European champion in 2013 with the Russian team.

Career

The 1.92 m wide Morozova won in 2013 with the Russian national team to European Championship final against Germany with 3: 1. At the 2007 European Championships she took 3rd place.

Morosowa took part in the 2009 European Championship in Poland and finished 6th with the Russian team.

At the World Grand Prix 2011 in China she was named best blocker; Russia took 4th place.

Morosowa was a member of the Russian national team from 2007 to 2013. She made her debut in 2007 at the Montreux Volley Masters in Montreux ( Switzerland ) in a game against the Serbian team .

From 2000 to 2011 she played for Avtodor Metar in Chelyabinsk. From 2011 to 2018 she played for VK Dynamo Moscow . With this team she became three times Russian champion and four times Russian runner-up.

Private

Morosowa has been married since 2010 and has a daughter Eva (* 2010). After the birth of her daughter, she continued to play in the Russian Sbornaja .
