Iupet
Iupet was high priest of Amun of Thebes during the 22nd Dynasty ( Third Intermediate Period ) around 944-924 BC. He was a son of Scheschonq I. His other titles were general , army leader and, according to later evidence, chief of Upper Egypt .
For the first time Iupet is mentioned in the year 10 in the bandages of the mummy of the "Djedpathiufanch". In the 21st year of the reign he is mentioned on the large stele in Silsila and in Karnak there are relief representations of the high priest. His cenotaph was discovered in Abydos .
