Iuri Dudoglo

Iuri Dudoglo (born July 9, 1991 ) is a Moldovan weightlifter .

He was European youth champion in 2006 and vice world champion in 2009. In 2010 he took part in the European championships for active athletes for the first time and reached sixth place in the class up to 56 kg. At the world championships in the same year he started in the class up to 62 kg and took 16th place. In 2011 Dudoglo was eighth at the European Championships and 15th at the World Championships . He also took part in the 2011 Universiade , where he was fifth. In 2012 he won the title at the U23 European Championships.

Then Dudoglo started for Azerbaijan. He was fifth at the 2013 Universiade and first at the U23 European Championships. Only then did it become known that he had tested positive for dehydrochloromethyltestosterone during a training control . His two results were canceled and he was banned for two years. After his suspension, he returned to Moldova and finished 18th at the 2015 World Championships .
