Ivan Čvorović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Иван Чворовић , Bulgarian Иван Чворович Ivan Chvorovich ; born September 21, 1985 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian - Bulgarian football goalkeeper who has been under contract with Botev Plovdiv since 2017 .

Career

society

Ivan Čvorović was born in Belgrade and trained in the youth academy of FK Partizan Belgrade . He completed his first season as a professional in the 2002/03 season with the farm team Partizans, Teleoptik Zemun . After he completed eight league games for Teleoptik and played the 2003/04 season for FK Srem Jakovo , Čvorović moved to Bulgaria for FK Neftochimik in winter 2005 . Over the years he played a total of 27 league games for Neftochimik before he left the club in July 2007 and moved to FC Chernomorez Burgas . But there he only made ten league appearances in a year and a half, so he moved to Minjor Pernik in January 2009 . For Pernik he made his debut on March 23rd in the 3-0 home defeat against Belasiza Petritsch . After Čvorović gradually advanced to the goalkeeper in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons, he moved to the then reigning champion Ludogorez Razgrad shortly after an international debut . So far he has only made sporadic appearances in Razgrad, but he became Bulgarian champion in 2012/13 and 2013/14 and is also a cup and Supercup winner . At European level, reaching the round of 16 in the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League is his greatest success, but he only played one group match on December 12, 2013 against Dinamo Zagreb (2-1). In the current 2014/15 season, he was used a total of four times in six possible league games (as of August 28, 2014).

National team

In 2012, Čvorović took on Bulgarian citizenship after playing in Bulgaria for five years. He was then nominated for the Bulgarian senior team and made his international debut against the Netherlands on May 26 , when he came into play for Stojan Kolew in the second half .
