Ivan Ďatelinka (born March 6, 1983 in Topoľčany , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC 05 Banská Bystrica from the Slovakian extra league since July 2015 .

Career

Ivan Ďatelinka began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Topoľčany , for whose professional team he was active from 2000 to 2006 in the first division , the second Slovak division. The defender spent the next five years at MHC Martin from the Slovak Extra League . With this he won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in the 2008/09 season .

For the 2011/12 season Ďatelinka was committed within the Extraliga from HC Slovan Bratislava , with whom he immediately won the Slovak championship . For the 2012/13 season Slovan Bratislava was included in the Continental Hockey League , in which he was also used. At the same time, he also played for Slovan's Extraliga farm team HK 36 Skalica .

Between 2013 and 2015 he was again active for MHC Martin, where he was team captain in his second season. In July 2015 he was signed by HC 05 Banská Bystrica , with whom he won three more Slovak championship titles in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
