Ivan Řehák
Ivan Řehák (born September 2, 1954 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak engraver and medalist .
Career
Ivan Řehák studied sculpture with Rudolf Pribiš from 1973 to 1979 at the Academy for Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava ( Vysoká škola výtvarných umení v Bratislave ) . He has a number of coins for the Czech Republic and Slovakia designed, including the current coin to 1 euro and 2 euros. The 2 euro coin won the Coin of the Year Award in 2011 . Ivan Řehák teaches at the Faculties of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava . He lives and works in Bratislava.
