Ivana Marie Trump (née Zelníčková ; born February 20, 1949 in Gottwaldov , Czechoslovakia ) is an American entrepreneur and former model of Czech - Austrian origin. From 1977 to 1990 she was married to the entrepreneur and later US President Donald Trump .

She had her first television appearance in 1970 in the German-Czech children's series Pan Tau . She later served as Vice President of Interior Design for the Trump Organization . She is the chairman of various environmental and fashion organizations and the author of several novels.

Ivana Zelníčková was born in 1949 as the daughter of the Czechoslovak Miloš Zelníček and the Austrian Marie Francová. In her youth she was a passionate skier , took part in competitions and was encouraged by her father. She had a relationship with her ski friend George Syrovatka since 1967 and lived with him in Prague , where she studied at Charles University and obtained a master's degree in sports science . At the same time, she began to work as a model. On the mediation of Syrovatka, she married his Austrian ski friend Alfred Winklmayr in 1971 in order to obtain “western” citizenship and thus to follow Syrovatka in 1972 and to emigrate to Montreal , Canada . The marriage with Winklmayr was divorced in 1973.

In Canada she became known as a model for various companies and designers and promoted, among others in New York , for the 1976 Summer Olympics , which took place in Montreal. At one such PR event, she met the American entrepreneur and later US President Donald Trump in 1976 and married him in 1977. The sons Donald Jr. (* 1977) and Eric (* 1984) and their daughter Ivanka (* 1981). This second marriage ended in divorce in 1990. In an affidavit about the divorce, Ivana Trump stated that she had been raped by her husband in 1989, information that the media had always avoided until Trump was elected president. After she recommended a surgeon who performed a very painful hair implant, he tore out a handful of her hair and then forcibly had sexual intercourse with her, after which she locked herself in the bedroom for the night.

From 1995 to 1997 she was married to the Italian businessman Riccardo Mazzuchelli. In April 2008, after a six-year relationship, she married the Italian model Rossano Rubicondi (* 1972), but announced the separation in early December 2008.
