Eric Frederick Trump (born January 6, 1984 in New York City ) is an American entrepreneur and current Vice President of the Trump Organization . He is a son of incumbent US President Donald Trump .

Eric Trump is the third child aged 45 . US President Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump . He has an older brother, Donald Jr. (* 1977), and an older sister, Ivanka (* 1981). From his father's two later marriages, he has a half-sister named Tiffany (* 1993) and a half-brother named Barron.

He has been married to Lara Trump (* 1982 as Lara Lea Yunaska) since November 2014 . On September 12, 2017, Eric Trump became the father of a son. On August 19, 2019, Trump became the father of a daughter.

Education, occupation and support of the father

Eric Trump studied management and finance at Georgetown University . Since 2006 he has been working for the family business The Trump Organization , a conglomerate that primarily operates worldwide through the construction and operation of real estate (primarily skyscrapers and hotels) and golf courses and has more than 20,000 employees. In the summer of 2015, the three siblings took over the management of the operational business after his father announced his candidacy for the 2016 US presidential election . Like his two older siblings, Eric Trump regularly took part in his father's election campaign appearances and press meetings. He gave a speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention promoting his father. After his father's election victory, Eric Trump and his brother took over management of the company for the duration of the presidency .

Social Commitment

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Trump is involved in the Eric Trump Foundation, which he founded, for seriously ill children. To this end, he donated several million dollars. In June 2017, Forbes reported that some of the donations had been used to fund golf courses; the Attorney General of the State of New York , Eric Schneiderman took this on investigations.
