Ivar Erik Tollefsen (born June 23, 1961 ) is a Norwegian entrepreneur , mountaineer and rally driver .

Tollefsen became a multimillionaire through real estate deals. He gained fame by several Antarctic - expeditions , first ascents and his fourth place in the 2009 Dakar Rally .

Alpinism

Tollefsen went on several Antarctic expeditions. In 1994 he achieved first ascents of Jøkulkyrkja ( 3148  m ), Ulvetanna ( 2931  m ), Geßnerspitze ( 3021  m ), Kinntanna ( 2724  m ) and Holtanna Nordgipfel ( 2630  m ), in 1996/1997 the Rondespiret ( 2427  m ). In 2006, the first ascent of a route through the Ulvetanna north face followed ( level of difficulty A4 5.10 , 21 pitches , 960 meters, 16 days) with Robert Caspersen, Stein-Ivar Gravdal and Trond Hilde as well as six first ascents in the Holtedahl mountains .
