Ivo Ergović (born December 24, 1967 in Osijek ) is a former Croatian football player .

Career

society

Ergović played for NK Osijek until the winter break of the 1991/92 season . In January 1992 he moved to the Austrian first division SV Austria Salzburg . He made his debut in the 1st Division in March 1992 when he was in the starting line-up against FC Admira / Wacker on the 24th matchday of the 1991/92 season . He scored his first goal in the top Austrian league in May 1992 in a 1-1 draw against SK Rapid Wien . With Austria Salzburg Ergović was both in 1992 and 1993 level on points with FK Austria Wien runner-up.

After one and a half years in Austria, he returned to Croatia in the summer of 1993 and moved to NK Belišće . He played his first game in the 1st HNL in September 1993 against NK Dubrovnik . In November 1993 he scored his first goal in the top Croatian league in a 3-0 win against HNK Šibenik .

For the 1994/95 season Ergović returned to NK Osijek. For Osijek he came to 184 league appearances and over 220 competitive appearances in the following eight seasons. In 1999 he won the cup with Osijek. After the 2001/02 season he ended his career.

National team

His only game for the Croatian national team graduated Ergović in June 1997 in a friendly against Japan , in which he came on in the 50th minute for Dubravko Pavličić .
