Ivo Fairbairn-Crawford
Ivo Fairbairn-Crawford ( Ivo Frank Fairbairn-Crawford ; * December 20, 1884 in Longford , † August 24, 1959 in Hambledon , Surrey ) was a British middle-distance runner .
In 1907 he became the British 880 yard champion .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he led the final of the 1,500-meter run in the first third, but eventually fell back to fifth place. In the final of the 800-meter run , he initially ensured a high pace, but then gave up.
Ivo Fairbairn-Crawford was a student at Dublin University .
