Ivan Jurjewitsch Jazenko ( Russian Иван Юрьевич Яценко ; born June 21, 1992 in Yekaterinburg ) is a Russian ice hockey player .

Career

Ivan Yazenko began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Spartakovets Yekaterinburg. From 2009 to 2012 the attacker played for the junior team Avto Yekaterinburg in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the 2010/11 season he also ran for the second team of Sputnik Nizhny Tagil in the third-class Pervaya League . For the 2012/13 season , the left-shooter was committed from HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk from the Continental Hockey League . In the KHL, he scored two goals and four assists in 41 games in his rookie year . He also came as a loan player to three missions for HK Sary-Arka Karaganda in the Wysschaja Hockey League , the second Russian division.

Jazenko began the 2016/17 season at HK Spartak Moscow , but was unable to assert himself there and was therefore handed over to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk after a few games , and later to HK Sochi . Another transfer then took place in December 2016 when Yazenko moved from HK Sochi to HK Vitjas from Podolsk .
