Ivan Koslow ( Ukrainian Іван Козлов ; born May 6, 1978 in Kiev , then Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian ski jumper .

Career

Koslow made his international debut at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1994 in Breitenwang , where he finished 64th in individual competitions and 17th in team competitions. Even two years later in Asiago he only reached the last place with the team at the Junior World Championships in 1996 , whereas he was able to improve to 54th place in the individual jumping. Kozlow won his first Continental Cup points at the end of January 1997 in Zakopane when he reached 23rd place. A few weeks later he took part in the 1997 Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim . He finished 57th on the normal hill and 43rd on the large hill. His performance at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano was stronger . Here he just barely missed the second round as 31st on the normal hill. He also achieved a good result on the large hill as 36th. On January 16, 1999, he qualified in Zakopane, Poland for the first time for a World Cup competition and finished 42nd place. The next month he was again represented in the main field of a World Cup competition, as the qualification had to be canceled in Harrachov . He finished 54th. He then jumped in the Continental Cup until the 2001/02 season , but remained unsuccessful.

In 2002 he ended his career at the age of only 24 due to unsuccessfulness.
