Izadchāst also Izad Chāst ( Persian ایزدخواست) Is a city in the province of Fārs in Iran . It is located in the administrative district of Ābādeh.

The Izadchāst complex is located about 135 km south of Isfahan . It consists of the fortress of the same name, a caravanserai and a bridge from Safavid times. The structure of the fort is of particular interest because it combines several different architectural styles from the Sassanian period until the time of the Qajar rich. The architectural style of the fortress is also unique and can only be compared with similar buildings in Yazd and Kermān in terms of the building materials used . The location on a solid rock provided the building with protection from attacks for a long time.

In August 2007 the site was proposed for the UNESCO World Heritage List .
