Izidor István Marosi

Izidor István Marosi (born March 27, 1916 in Újkécske ; † November 14, 2003 ) was a Hungarian Catholic clergyman and bishop of Vác .

Life

Izidor István Marosi was ordained a priest on June 22, 1941 .

On March 31, 1979 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in Vác and titular bishop of Maxula Prates . The Archbishop of Esztergom , Cardinal László Lékai , consecrated him bishop on April 30 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Árpád Fábián OPraem , Bishop of Szombathely , Imre Kisberk , Bishop of Székesfehérvár , and József Bánk , Archbishop ad personam of Vác.

The Pope named him Bishop of Vác on March 3, 1987. On February 11, 1992, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
