Wladlena Eduardowna Bobrownikowa ( Russian Владлена Эдуардовна Бобровникова , scientific transliteration Vladlena Ėduardovna Bobrovnikova ; born October 24, 1987 in Krasnodar , Soviet Union ) is a Russian handball player .
Career
Bobrownikowa played from 2004 for the Russian first division club GK Kuban Krasnodar . With Kuban she was in the quarter-finals of the EHF Cup in the 2008/09 season . The right-hander then moved to the Serbian club ŽRK Kikinda . In January 2010 Bobrownikowa joined the Italian first division club ASD HC Sassari , with whom she won the Italian Cup in 2010 and 2011. In October 2011, the backcourt player joined league rivals HC Teramo . With Teramo she won the Italian championship in 2012. Then she returned to Russia and signed a contract with GK Rostov-on-Don . With Rostov, she was in the semifinals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons. She won the Russian Championship in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020, the Russian Cup in 2015 and the EHF Cup in 2017 . In May 2017, Bobrovnikova announced her pregnancy.
Bobrovnikova is a member of the Russian national team . With the Russian selection, she took part in the 2014 European Championship . During the tournament she scored four goals. She won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the 2019 World Cup , she won the bronze medal with the Russian selection.
