Izingolweni is a city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal . It was the administrative seat of the Ezinqoleni municipality in the Ugu district until 2016 and is located at an altitude of 630 meters above sea level. In 2011 the city had 5,294 inhabitants. It is on the N2 national road , approximately 20 miles east of Port Shepstone and 28 miles northwest of Harding .
