Robert Koelsch

Robert Kölsch (born May 30, 1849 in Rodalben ; † November 12, 1926 in Munich ) was a Bavarian medical officer , most recently a general doctor .

Life

After graduating from the Herzog-Wolfgang-Gymnasium in Zweibrücken , Kölsch studied medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . As a Rhineland Palatinate , he became a member of the Fröhlich Pfalz on October 1, 1868 .

In 1870 he took part in the war against France as a one-year volunteer in the 8th Infantry Regiment of the Bavarian Army . In 1874 he passed the medical state examination and was briefly a volunteer doctor in Pasing , Speyer ( cholera ) and Thalkirchen ( Blattern ). He joined the Bavarian Army and was initially a junior doctor in the 3rd Jäger Battalion in Eichstätt , then from November 30, 1874 assistant doctor, 2nd class. 1876 doctorate he became Dr. med. On July 15, 1877, he joined the Transrhenania as a Philistine .

After taking the physics exam in 1879, he became assistant physician 1st class in his Jäger Battalion in Eichstätt in 1880 , medical officer in the 10th Infantry Regiment "King Ludwig" in Ingolstadt in 1885, and medical officer and battalion physician in the 3rd Jäger battalion in Eichstätt in 1887 and in 1891 in the 19th Infantry Regiment “King Viktor Emanuel III. of Italy ” and finally in 1893 medical officer in the 13th Infantry Regiment“ Franz Joseph I, Emperor of Austria and Apostolic King of Hungary ” in Eichstätt. In 1894 he became senior staff doctor and regimental doctor in the 19th Infantry Regiment in Erlangen . In 1896, he I. in Munich for Surgeon Class, 1902 General assistant medical transports. As such, put up for disposition in 1908 , he was reactivated at the beginning of the First World War and deployed to the medical office of the General Command of the Deputy I. Army Corps .

It was not until 1919, at the age of 70 years, Kölsch was with the character as General doctor retired. Suddenly and unexpectedly he died of sepsis .

Kölsch had been married since 1875 and had three daughters and one son.
