At the end of the tour, he finished 32nd overall. At the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo , he started in the individual jumping from the normal hill. He jumped to 29th place.

In the Four Hills Tournament 1956/57 Bulín was able to reach 16th place in the opening competition in Oberstdorf . However, he could not build on this result in Innsbruck or in Bischofshofen and thus reached rank 27 in the overall ranking. He finally celebrated his greatest success at the Four Hills Tournament in 1957/58 . On the first tour, in which he competed in all four competitions, he already achieved two top 10 placements at the start with sixth place in Oberstdorf and ninth place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . After two more mixed results in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen, he finished in a very good 13th place in the tour's overall ranking.
