Jérémy Cadot (born November 7, 1986 in Lens ) is a French foil fencer .
successes
Jérémy Cadot was European champion with the team in 2015 in Montreux and 2017 in Tbilisi . In 2017 he also secured his only international individual medal with bronze. There are also two bronze medals in the team competition from the 2013 World Championships in Budapest and 2017 in Leipzig . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he finished 18th in the individual, while he reached the final against Russia in the team competition. The Russian team prevailed against France with 45:41, so that Cadot received the silver medal together with Enzo Lefort , Jean-Paul Tony Helissey and Erwann Le Péchoux . After the Olympic silver, he received the Knight's Cross of the Ordre national du Mérite in December 2016 .
