Jördis Richter (* 1986 ) is a German actress .

life and career

Jördis Richter comes from a family of artists and grew up in Berlin . In 2006 she began her acting training as a state-certified actress at the European Theater Institute Berlin , which she graduated in 2009. Richter completed her vocal training - mezzo-soprano voice - with Monika Reidenbach and Andreas Talarowsky.

As a theater actress she has worked at the Dynamo West opera and the Schaubühne Berlin, among others . She made her film debut in 2008 in the short film Starbucks Bussballett . She became known to a wider audience through the role of the prostitute Beatrice in an episode role in the ZDF crime series Ein stark Team . In April 2014, the feature film Miss Sixty with Richter in a leading role came into the cinemas.

In 2013 Richter worked on Ben Frost's music theater adaptation of the novel The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks .

In addition to her native German, Jördis Richter speaks Berlin, Saxon and Cologne dialect as well as English and French. She has her residence in the Icelandic capital Reykjavík .
