Jörg-Uwe Klütz (born July 21, 1968 in Quakenbrück ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

The defender Klütz came to the second division Hannover 96 in 1990 via TV Groß Mimmelage, BV Quakenbrück and VfL Herzlake . In 1992 he won the DFB Cup with Hanover . The following year they competed in the European Cup Winners' Cup in a German-German duel against SV Werder Bremen and lost (1: 3, 2: 1). In the league, the club, relegated to the second division in 1989, slipped further and further down before being relegated to the regional league in 1996.

Klütz then moved to VfB Oldenburg , who had just been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. However, the direct relegation followed. Klütz stayed with the club for two more years and played with VfB in the regional league. In 1999 he went to BV Cloppenburg , where he played for nine years (1999/00 in the Regionalliga and from 2000 to 2008 in the Oberliga). In his last season, 2007/08 , Klütz qualified with BVC for the Regionalliga West . He then ended his playing career and was coach in Cloppenburg in December 2008. After relegation to the Oberliga, he led the club back to the Regionalliga Nord in 2012 as runner-up in the Oberliga Niedersachsen . In 2015 Klütz gave up his coaching position. Today he works as a consultant for the association.
