Jörg-Uwe Lütt (born April 15, 1964 in Kiel ) is a German goalkeeping coach and former handball goalkeeper . For the German national handball team , he played 18 international matches until 1990.

Career

Lütt started his handball career at TSV Altenholz before moving to THW Kiel . There he completed 50 Bundesliga games in two years. He then played for two years each for TuRU Düsseldorf and SG Weiche-Handewitt in the handball Bundesliga.

In 1991 Lütt moved to SG VfL / BHW Hameln , for which he played 177 games by 1997. In the six years at VfL he was German runner-up in 1994 and was in the 1996 European Cup final for the Euro City Cup .

He then moved to TSV GWD Minden for four years before joining TSV Burgdorf , with whom he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2005. In the 2008/09 season Lütt played for HC Empor Rostock . He then moved to Lower Saxony's upper division TS Großburgwedel . There he ended his career as a player in 2014 and became the team's goalkeeping coach from the 2014/15 season.

Nevertheless, he played in the 2014/15 season for the Bielefeld upper division TuS 97 Bielefeld-Jöllenbeck .

Despite his defensive position on the handball field, Lütt scored eight goals in his 450 appearances in the handball Bundesliga. He is a trained optician.
