Jörg Auf der Heyde (born December 14, 1934 , † June 11, 1989 ) was a German lawyer and football official.

Auf der Heyde worked for the Bielefeld food company Dr. Oetker GmbH and rose to the position of in-house counsel , the chief lawyer. When the Arminia Bielefeld club was involved in the Bundesliga scandal in 1971 , in which the club bribed its opponents in order to gain the points necessary to stay in the league, Auf der Heyde became Arminia's vice-president together with student teacher Wolfgang Walkenhorst . On the Heyde, company boss August Oetker would have urged this commitment. In April 1973 Auf der Heyde then became the club's president as successor to Alfred Rahe.

At this point in time, the association was in debt with around one million marks and its existence was threatened. The club was able to pay off its debts through a restructuring concept and qualified for the newly founded 2nd Bundesliga in 1974 . In 1978 and 1980 the people from Bielefeld were promoted to the Bundesliga again , surprisingly relegated again in 1985 and were in debt with around three million marks. At the time, Auf der Heyde was working in South America , so that he resigned from his position in February 1986. The new president was Gisela Schwerdt , who was the first woman to chair a German professional football club.
