Jörg Büchner

Jörg Büchner (born March 27, 1942 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German politician ( DVU ). From 1998 to 2002 he was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

Jörg Büchner attended primary school in Halle from 1948 to 1956 and then trained as a carpenter. From 1959 to 1962 he worked as a carpenter. From 1962 to 1963 he did military service as a soldier in the NVA . 1964 to 1966 he trained as a waiter with a degree and from 1966 to 1967 trained as a restaurant manager. From 1967 to 1990 he worked as a specialist waiter. From 1991 to 1992 he did an apprenticeship as a hotel clerk as part of an ABM and worked as a buffet manager from 1992 to 1996. 1958-1959 he was a victim of political persecution imprisoned . The criminal rehabilitation took place in 1996. The court found that the prison sentence was wrongly imposed. From 1966 to 1980 Jörg Büchner was an unofficial employee of the Ministry for State Security .

politics

Jörg Büchner was a member of the NDPD from 1976 to 1985 . In 1992 he joined the DVU and in 1997 was deputy district chairman in Halle. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1998, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list. From February 1999 he was non-attached and from September 1999 to January 2000 a guest of the DVU parliamentary group. Since February 14, 2000 he was a member of the German People's Union-Freedom List parliamentary group, which in March 2001 was renamed the German People's Union parliamentary group . Since February 2001 he was deputy chairman of this group. In the state parliament he was a member of the Committee on Economy, Technology and European Affairs, the Committee on Culture and Media and the Committee on Equality, Children, Youth and Sport.
