Jörg Weigt
Jörg Weigt (born July 31, 1959 in Seigertshausen in Hesse ) is a German local politician of the SPD . He has been the full-time mayor of the city of Overath since 2014 .
Weigt spent his childhood in Cologne and Ahrweiler . He then moved to his wife in Overath and worked at the Cologne City Clinics . He later moved to the Office for School Development.
Weigt is widowed. He has three sons.
On June 15, 2014, he won the runoff election against the previous incumbent Andreas Heider (CDU) with 67 to 33 percent.
In November 2016 he married his current wife Andrea Weigt, geb. Heider.
