Jörn Henrich
Jörn Henrich (* 1968 ) is a German philosopher with a doctorate and private lecturer in the history of science at the TU Berlin .
Life
From 2011 to 2017 he worked for the Studium generale at the University of Mainz . His work focuses on the history of scientific disciplines, the relationship between science and philosophy, interdisciplinarity and scientific cultures in global comparison.
Henrich was also a member of the Federal Foreign Office's jazz band from 2005 to 2009 and gave concerts in Germany and abroad with, among others, Wolfgang Lackerschmidt , Hendrik Meurkens , John C. Marshall , Andrea Marcelli , Jean-Pierre Froehly, Gregory Gaynair , Ekkehard Wölk , Olga Voichenko, Giorgio Crobu, Alexej Chizhik, Martin Weiss and others. The most important venues were the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the philharmonic orchestras in Donetsk and St. Petersburg, the Marinksi Theater there, and the Jazz au Chellah jazz festival / Morocco.
