Compositions

They were produced for Deutschlandfunk Kultur , Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg and Bayerischer Rundfunk , but were also performed live. The following are to be mentioned:
- Across the Border , a suite in six movements, was written in summer 2000 for a jazz trio (piano, bass, drums). The piece is an attempt to capture the atmosphere and emotions while traveling, alternating firmly notated parts and jazz improvisations.
- Pictures and Sounds (1999–2006) contains pieces that are inspired by motifs from literature and the visual arts. The titles are: The Juggler (1999), Bartleby's Blues (2001), Dulcinea (2001) and Master Gepetto's Nightmare (2002).
- People on Sunday , created in Ahrenshoop in winter 2004 . The four-part suite was created for violin , alto saxophone , trombone and clarinet as well as jazz trio. The work is inspired by the silent film People on Sunday (1929) by Robert Siodmak and Billy Wilder .
- Book of Images , songs based on poems by Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926) from his cycle Das Buch der Bilder , created in June 2004 during a stay in Toronto .
