Jørn Didriksen (born August 27, 1953 in Jevnaker , Oppland ) is a former Norwegian speed skater .

Didriksen had specialized in short distances in his active career. His greatest success was winning the silver medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria . Over 1,000 m he only had to admit defeat to the American Peter Mueller .

Between 1975 and 1977 Didriksen also took part in three speed skating sprint world championships. His best result was 1975 in Gothenburg , Sweden, when he finished fourth in the overall standings behind three runners from the Soviet Union . In the following years he reached the ranks six and ten.

Also in 1975 Didriksen was Norwegian champion in the sprint four-way fight. In Elverum , Norway, he won over three individual distances (1 × 500 m, 2 x 1,000 m) and thus laid the foundation for his victory in the overall standings.

Didriksen works as a writer and is the author of several detective novels .
