Jewish cemetery (Lauenstein)
The Jewish cemetery in the Lauenstein district of the Salzhemmendorf community in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in Lower Saxony is a protected cultural monument .
The cemetery is located at Am Knickbrink near Wallstrasse . There are six tombstones on it . The oldest stone dates from 1857, the youngest from 1906.
history
The cemetery was laid out in 1787. The last funeral took place in 1900. In 1938 the cemetery was cleared. After the Second World War , the six remaining tombstones were put up again.
