Jewish cemetery (Bad König)
The Jewish cemetery Bad König is a cemetery in the town of Bad König in the Odenwaldkreis in Hesse . It stands as a cultural monument under monument protection .
The Jewish cemetery is in the east of the city, right next to the general cemetery. It can be reached via Kimbacher Straße / Friedhofsweg.
The dead of the Jewish community in Bad König were initially buried in the Michelstadt cemetery. In the almost 500 m² cemetery in Bad König, which was occupied from 1926 to before 1939, there are a few gravestones with the names of the former König families Adler, Ehrmann, Herzfeld, Mannheimer, Oppermann, Speyer and Strauss.
